Booking Conditions


The lead person who makes the booking on behalf of all party members is responsible for all payments made to Golf Holidays and Travel Pte Ltd. When a tour has been finalized and accepted by the lead person, we require a deposit of 35% of the total group cost. If the booking is made within 10 weeks of the date of arrival, we will require full pre-payment to be made at the time of booking. The lead person responsible for the group’s payment can either forward one credit card to cover the group’s deposits or forward individual credit cards for each member of the group. It will be the responsibility of the lead person making the arrangements on behalf of his group to make sure a copy of our terms and conditions are forwarded to each individual travelling within the group.

Notification of cancellation must be forwarded to ‘Golf Holidays and Travel Pte Ltd’ in writing or by email as soon as possible.
The following is a schedule of charges incurred by the client if for any reason the tour is cancelled,
Prior to Departure Cancellation Fee
More than 30 days 30% of total value of package per person
16 – 30 days 50% of total value of package per person
15 days 100% of total value of package per person
If we or our overseas land operator has any reason to cancel the tour, a full refund will be made including deposit

All itineraries include transport from the point of arrival until departure date unless specified by the client. Drivers for self-drive vehicles must have a full driver’s license and be over 25 years of age for Scotland, England and Ireland. Car/Mini Bus rental rates do not include gasoline/petrol or personal accident insurance but do include Collision Damage Waiver. On delivery of your hired vehicle you will be asked to leave a credit card deposit to cover a full tank of fuel and in some cases a deposit may be required to cover any damage to the vehicle before use. With Coach Hire and Chauffeur Drive, all motoring and drivers expenses are included in the price of the tour.

It is our policy of to use hotels that have a 3, 4 or 5 star rating. All quotations are based on rooms with private bath/shower at the hotels requested. Should any hotel not be available after your quotation, an alternative of similar standard will be offered. Superior and Deluxe rooms are available for a supplementary charge in most hotels.

Tour services included in the tour packages, which are not used, are non-refundable. No refund will be made for unused hotel accommodations including, Caddy and Green Fees or any other service due to flight delays or unscheduled changes or for any other reason.

Tour documents will be sent to you approximately 3 weeks prior to your departure date with all relevant documentation therein.

All clients must carry with them a current handicap, GHIN card or certificate and a general letter of introduction from your home club. Failure to do so may result in access being denied at many British and Irish Golf Clubs.

The use of caddies is strongly recommended ’. Please advise us on booking if they are required. Caddy fees are to be paid by the client directly to the caddy or caddy master on the day of play and are not the responsibility of our land operator. Please note that caddies are not directly employed by the respective golf clubs and it is the caddie’s responsibility to arrive at the allotted time and as such no responsibility is accepted by our operator.

Each tour will be met by our representative or your Chauffeur Drive/Guide. You will be given a tour briefing at the airport or first night hotel. While travelling you will also have the backup facilities of our St Andrews and Dublin based offices for any help or advice you may require.

Please remember it is your responsibility to have adequate travel insurance in place. We are not liable for loss, damage or theft of luggage or personal belongings, or for personal injury, accident or illness that may prevent travelling. Therefore, please ensure you have adequate insurance before travelling.

Golf Holidays and Travel Pte. Ltd hereof referred to as ‘the company’ and or its agents, act only as agents in making arrangements for hotels, tee times, sightseeing tours and transportation or any other service in connection with the itineraries of individual tour members who by acceptance thereof, acknowledge that the company and or its agents and suppliers shall not be liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to personal injury due to act or default of any hotel, golf club, carrier or any other company or person providing or rendering of services included in the tours.
Further, the company and or its agents accept no responsibility for any sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery breakdown, government restraints, weather conditions, and defaults in any vehicle of transportation or any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond their control. The company reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any service, and to decline to accept or retain tour members at any time for any reason including insufficient numbers of participants.
The client, by engaging the company and making deposit and/or full payment for the package arrangement specified, acknowledges the position of the company as stipulated by the foregoing and agrees to hold the company blameless in making arrangements on his/her behalf, provided same should be made through generally accepted suppliers at the time of engagement, and further agrees that the restitution of damages, if any are claimed, shall be sought directly from the suppliers. The client also agrees to the terms and conditions of the tour and services set forth by the suppliers. Rates are subject to change without notice. Payment of deposit or full payment shall constitute consent of all provisions stated herein. Due to the inclement nature of British and Irish weather, it is not possible to return green fee payments from golf clubs if courses are affected by adverse weather conditions. If however any refunds (rain check) are to be made, this will be at the discretion of the golf club.

You will be charged a standard excess baggage charge of 6 kg which is applicable for the first 15 kg of the equipment. For every kg beyond the first 15 kg, normal excess baggage charges will apply. Excess baggage charges vary by zone of travel.
As examples:
If you are travelling from Singapore to Malaysia or Asean countries and your golfing equipment weighs 20 kg, you will be charged a total of USD88 (at USD8 / kg).
Computed as follows: 8 x 6 (for the first 15 kg) + 8 x 5 (for the next 5 kg) = USD88.
If you are travelling from Singapore to Europe, the amount charged will be USD550 (at USD50 / kg).
This is calculated as follows: 50 x 6 (for the first 15kg) + 50 x 5 (for the next 5kg) = USD550.
This special charge is only applicable to one set of golf equipment per customer. Any additional golf sets shall be charged according to the standard excess baggage charges.
For travel to/from the United States, each golf set will be considered as one piece of luggage under the piece system, and any excess baggage will be charged. The combined dimensions of each piece should not exceed 106 inches in height or 62 inches in length.
Different airlines may have separate rules and interpretation when charging golf equipment as excess baggage.



A deposit of S$1000 per person is required upon confirmation of booking.
Balance of payment is required at least 21 days prior departure.
All cheque payment must be made payable to “Golf Holidays & Travel Pte Ltd”.

The following charges apply:-
$500 per person – between 15 & 35 days prior departure
50% of tour fare per person – between 8 & 14 days prior departure
75% of tour fare per person – between 2 & 7 days prior departure
100% of tour fare per person – on the day of departure
An amendment fees of $200 per person will be levied for any changes after confirmation.
